The South Beach diet has been proven a great weight loss method. The south beach diet was first created for those you have diabetes and heart problems, but it expanded into all of American using this simple method. It focuses on whole grains, friuts and vegtables, lean fats and proteins. The Atkins diet is very similar to the South Beach diet they both iliminate charbohydrates out of your diet completly. The South Beach diet has cook books for you to abide by while your one the diet. But Atkins doesn't. They just tell you to strictly cut out carbohydrates, and give some recipes on there website. They website says that South Beach diet was being to postive. They would say things like "13 pounds in 2 weeks" or "cravings are gone" but they never actaully stated real people saying that. So if you need to loose weight one healthy method to choose is the South Beach diet.
